Archaeological Field Schools
- Several local colleges and universities offer Field Schools, including the University of Virginia, James Madison University, Longwood College, and many others. Some of these schools require tuition, some are free of charge, and a handful pay for your labor. Most of the schools associated with colleges/universities require an application form and will provide you with college credit. A majority of the projects are 1 to 3 months between May and August.
