Archaeology Program at Sweet Briar College

Bio-Archaeo GIS Project

In the Summer of 2004, Dr. Fink and Dr. Rainville teamed up to produce an inter-disciplinary map of environmental, archaeological, and historical resources on Sweet Briar's 3250 acres. Over 60 sites were located by Jodie Weber '06 and Lindsey Nash '05 during two months of pedestrian survey within Sweet Briar's several thousand acres. Their results are available above, divided into biological and archaeological categories. To view a map, produced in ArcView by Dr. Fink, please click on the topo map icon.
