The computer lab is equipped with:
- Dell Optiplex computers
- A Macintosh Powerbook (with the capacity for making movies)
- A B/W and Color Printer
- A scanner (for paper and slides)
- ArcGis software for analyzing data
- Graphics and Word processing software
- Hand-held Global Positioning Units
- A Leica Total Station for Mapping

Study Collections (available for original, student research) include:
- Over 10,000 micro-artifacts from Upper Mesopotamian sites
- Over two dozen animal skeletons in the ZooArchaeology Collection
- Historic Artifacts from excavations conducted at the Sweet Briar Plantation
and its sister plantation, Tusculum
- Prehistoric ceramic and lithic collections from the South Eastern
U.S.

The laboratory classroom is equipped with:
- Powerpoint LCD Projector
- Excavation equipment
- Survey equipment
- Metal detector and Soil corer
- Artifact storage space
