Information

  • Excavations will take place MWF 9am - 3pm
  • Stay all day, or for an hour or two
  • Contact Dr. Rainville if you wish to participate

Background on the site

  • The site contains about 30 stone foundations and/or cairns
  • Archival research conducted by Dr Ambers (ENVS Department) suggests that the land was formerly owned by either David Gaines or David Woodruff
  • Elijah Fletcher purchased the property in the 19th Century
